Weymouth College Sports Centre is situated on the Jurassic coastline, less than 1 mile from the best viewing spot in town for the Olympic and Paralympic sailing! The College, which hosts a range of sports facilities will be our primary site for the Olympic sailing.
Weymouth College Camping is only a 20 minute walk from Weymouth Town Centre, and on the days when you don’t have tickets you can enjoy Weymouth beach where there will be big screens and lots of extra activities and cultural events taking place during the games. In the evenings you will be a short walk away from a vast array of bars and restaurants along the bustling harbour to keep you entertained!
We had a great time camping, superb location, 10 min walk to the beach, tent brand new and so lovely to have it put up for us. Mobile loos handy and clean.
Weymouth Community Sports Centre Campsite is excited about hosting sailing fans and anyone who wants to soak up the seaside town atmosphere during the 2012 Summer Olympics.
