Camping 2012 – a guide to Olympic Campsites
Whilst everyone is clammering to try and find a budget hotel option in London for the Olympics, it might be a good idea to think about camping as an option during Summer 2012.
Why Camping 2012?
Why not? It’s a great way to be able to stay in an otherwise expensive area of the UK, if not the world. We’ve worked really hard with Sports Clubs across London and over the South East (near Olympic venues) to be able to offer affordable accommodation in great locations with all the facilities and atmosphere you need.
Who is this camping near the Olympics for?
Anyone and everyone is the short answer. It’s for:
- anyone with London 2012 Olympics tickets who needs somewhere to stay
- anyone who is volunteering at the Games and needs budget accommodation
- anyone who has temporary work during the games and needs a cheap place to stay
- any friends, family and supporters of teams and competitors
Don’t forget that this is also open to those of you who don’t have tickets and may have felt that the Olympics in London is not accessible to you – in fact, why would you bother engaging with it?
Well, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity for you and your family and friends to experience the excitement and atmosphere of the greatest sporting event in the world. You can stay somewhere for £10 a night (using Camping At The Games) with food available and a fun atmosphere, then make your way to some great spots in London to sample some of the free events on offer.
Tell your friends and join the fun by camping in 2012.
